Sergeant David Martin - Bomb Squad Commander
Sergeant Martin started with the Highway Patrol in 1983 and was first stationed at Troop G, West Plains, Missouri. In 1994, he was promoted to Corporal and transferred to Van Buren, Missouri, where he was designated as Assistant Zone Commander. In April, 1996, Dave transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control in Jefferson City, where he was assigned to the Technical Services Unit. This unit is tasked with performing all aspects of explosives disposal, technical support of field investigators, and background investigations on gubernatorial appointees. David was promoted to Sergeant at his current assignment in February, 1999. Sergeant Martin received his Bomb Technician training at the Hazardous Devices School in Huntsville, Alabama. He has attended numberous other schools to include Weapons of Mass Destruction and Post-Blast. In March, 2002, David was designated the supervisor of the Technical Services Unit.

Sergeant Paul Cordia
Sergeant Cordia started his career with the Patrol in 1979 and was first assigned to Troop C, Kirkwood, Missouri. In 1986 Paul transferred to Troop F and worked the Columbia area where he was promoted to the rank of Corporal and designated as the Assistant Zone Commander. In 1993, Paul transferred to the Gaming Division and worked as a Background Investigator. Paul then transferred to the Technical Services Unit in the Division of Drug and Crime Control in 1997. This unit is tasked with performing all aspects of explosives disposal, technical support of field investigators, and background investigations for gubernatorial appointees. In 1998 Paul received his Bomb Technician training at the Hazardous Devices School in Huntsville, Alabama. Sergeant Cordia has attended numerous schools to include Weapons of Mass Destruction, Post-Blast, HDS re-certification, and has received extensive training in Computer Forensics. In June of 1998 Paul was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Sergeant Jason Clark
Jason joined the Patrol in 1990 and was first stationed in Troop C in Jefferson County, Missouri. In 1993, Jason joined the Narcotics Unit and worked as an undercover narcotics investigator. Jason later returned to the road in 1995 and was assigned to Troop F where he worked the Callaway County area. In 1996 Jason was promoted to Corporal and was designated as the Assistant Zone Commander to Cooper and Howard Counties. In July, 1997, Jason transferred to the Technical Services Unit in the Division of Drug and Crime Control. This unit is tasked with performing all aspects of explosives disposal, technical support of field investigators, and background investigations for Gubernatorial appointees. Jason received his Bomb Technician training at the Hazardous Devices School in Huntsville, Alabama. Jason has attended numerous schools to include Weapons of Mass Destruction and Post-Blast. Jason was promoted to Sergeant February, 2001.

Corporal J. Erik Eidson
Erik first joined the Patrol as a Criminalist with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Laboratory in 1995. Then in 1997, after completing the Academy, Erik became a member of the Patrol. His first assignment was to the Troop F area, Cole and Callaway counties. Erik was a member of the Troop F SERT (SWAT) team and was assigned as one of the team snipers. In April, 2002, Erik transferred to the Technical Services Unit in the Division of Drug and Crime Control. This unit is tasked with performing all aspects of explosives disposal, technical support for the field criminal and narcotics investigators and completing background investigations for Gubernatorial appointees. Erik received his Bomb Technician training at the hazardous Devices School located in Huntsville, Alabama. In 2006, he was promoted to Corporal. Erik has attended several course dealing with explosives and technical services.

Corporal Kevin J. Hunter
Corporal Hunter joined the Patrol in 1995. He was assigned to Troop E, Sikeston, and later Troop D, Springfield. In 2004, he transferred to the Gaming Division. In 2006, he was promoted to Corporal. In 2007, Corporal Hunter transferred to the Technical Services Unit, within the Division of Drug and Crime Control. This unit is tasked with performing all aspects of explosives disposal, technical support of field investigators, and background investigations of Gubernatorial appointees. Corporal Hunter received his Bomb Technician training at the Hazardous Devices School in Huntsville, Alabama.
