Course Description: This four-hour POST course is intended for any law enforcement officers who may conduct traffic stops in the course of their duties.  In this lecture and discussion based class, topics to be discussed will include current case law regarding the legal basis for traffic stops, seizure of driver and/or passengers, searches, seizures, drug dogs, frisks, armed occupants, video recording of officers, seizing cell phones, and more.  Students will be provided with references for all court cases discussed.

Tuition/Registration Fees: Registration fees are due by the first day of class.  If fees are not paid in full prior to completion of class, certificates and continuing education hours will not be issued unless payment is received.
