CONTROL TECHNIQUES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
- July 1-2, 2014
Prerequisite: Good physical condition and no existing injuries.
Course Description: It is imperative that officers develop the skills necessary to control subjects offering defensive resistance and active aggression. Therefore, this two-day course will teach students principles and techniques relating to take downs and control holds that can be effectively used to counter resistance and generate compliance.
Who Should Attend: Officers having a desire to learn ground fighting and improve skill development.
Tuition/Registration Fees: Registration fees are due by the first day of class. If fees are not paid in full prior to completion of class, certificates and continuing education hours will not be issued unless payment is received.
