ESCAPE TECHNIQUES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
- September 3-4, 2014
Prerequisite: Good physical condition and no existing injuries.
Course Description: When faced with a use of force confrontation, it is imperative that officers develop the skills necessary to escape positions in which subjects can control the officers actions or gain access to their duty belt weapons. Students attending this two-day course will learn to how avoid and escape a variety of dangerous positions to include: chokes, headlocks, bear hugs, take downs and other positions of disadvantage.
Who Should Attend: Officers having a desire to learn ground fighting and improve skill development.
Tuition/Registration Fees: Registration fees are due by the first day of class. If fees are not paid in full prior to completion of class, certificates and continuing education hours will not be issued unless payment is received.
