Traffic Safety Compendium

These reports are the primary source of Missouri crash statistics. They are based on crash reports completed by Missouri law enforcement agencies. The Compendium presents a detailed analysis of Missouri's traffic safety problem, including an analysis of traffic crashes where a major contributing factor involves one of the following circumstances: speed, drinking, young driver, older driver, commercial motor vehicle, motorcycle, school bus, bicycle, pedestrian, fixed object, hazardous material, construction/other work zone, and seat belt usage.

Holiday Crash Reports

These reports provide State and local traffic safety authorities with information about Missouri's holiday traffic crash experience. The source of data is the Missouri Statewide Traffic Accident Records System (STARS). These reports contain data about the following National Safety Council holiday counting periods: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

Emergency Service Vehicle Crashes

These reports provide State and local traffic safety authorities with information on the problem of emergency service vehicle traffic crashes in the State of Missouri. Crashes of this nature are of special concern because emergency service vehicles and, more importantly, their staff are critical public safety resources whose loss due to traffic crashes adversely affects the public welfare.
