The Missouri SAC has implemented a substantial GIS and Mapping Center infrastructure that is used to develop applications to map criminal and traffic safety data. Since inception of the GIS and Mapping Center , the MoSAC has deployed a series of maps of violent and property crimes, drug possession and sale / manufacture arrests, and seized methamphetamine laboratories. It has also developed an online dynamic application that maps Missouri traffic crashes for different causative factors and characteristics. The MoSAC continues to create new maps for this project.
