Police Memorial Ceremony And Trooper Bava

The family of Trooper James M. Bava places a flower on the wreath at the national police memorial ceremony in Washington, D.C.. Members of the Troop E Honor Guard look on as the flower is placed on the wreath. Members of the GHQ and Troop F Staff also attended the event with the family. Trooper Bava was killed in an on-duty traffic crash while attempting to stop a motorcyclist for a traffic violation. Trooper James M. Bava was the 31st member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to lose his life in the line of duty. He is survived by his parents, three sisters, and a brother.
