No Emergency Declaration in effect at this time.

Effective February 1, 2010, the Department of Public Safety (DPS) assumed the responsibility for issuing emergency declarations for Missouri by authority of Executive Order 9-29. The purpose of this message is to inform you of this change and advise you who to contact when requesting an emergency declaration.

The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division (CVED) of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will process requests for emergency declarations. Requests made during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, shall be directed to the CVED at (573)526-6128. Requests made after normal business hours, weekends and holidays, shall be directed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop F Headquarters at (573)751-1000.

Requests for expedited Over Size/Over Weight (OSOW) permits contact MoDOT at (800) 877-8499.

Requests for International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) and International Registration Plan (IRP) permits contact MoDOT at (866) 831-6277.
