Troop B is located on Pine Crest Drive just south of US-36 on the west edge of Macon. Organized in 1931 as one of the original six troops, Troop B serves the public in 16 Northeast Missouri Counties. Troop B has a satellite crime laboratory to serve the area. There are approximately 65 uniformed officers, 30 uniformed civilians, and 13 civilian employees assigned to this troop.

Troop B serves the following counties: Adair, Chariton, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Linn, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Putnam, Ralls, Randolph, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby, and Sullivan.
